ABN Eligibility for Individuals
The Australian Taxation Office is currently scrutinising individuals who hold an Australian Business Number (ABN) in their own name.
It is reviewing individuals and making assessments as to their eligibility to an ABN.
The media is even reporting examples where ABN’s are cancelled before taxpayers are even notified or before the ATO seeks additional information.
